District Parent Assembly will be held at 6:30 pm Wednesday, November 14th at Metro High School. The Parent Assembly is a forum for parents that features guests who figure pominently in our school district, such as, School Board members, service providers, and academic experts. It is an open forum, meaning that guests speak to and take questions directly from those in attendance. It is a place where any parent can go to get information and to ask their questions from important players in our district. It is funded independently from the district and its board members are all volunteers. It is typically sparsely attended, so getting your questions answered is not difficult.
Cub Scouts Popcorn sales begin November 2nd. What a great Holiday Gift!
Field Trips: you must be an approved volunteer to help on a field trip. Please ask your teacher for an application for this. If you are not an approved volunteer, you need to fill out an Event Application.
Progress Reports for 2nd Quarter are only sent to those students who are not making adequate progress.
Non-Uniform Day is an opportunity for students to show their individuality by wearing school appropriate attire that does not have to be uniform colors.
Papa John's Night is the last Friday of each month. Please mention Kennard when you order and a percentage of the sale goes to Kennard. The classroom that orders the most each month wins a pizza party courtesy of Papa John's Pizza.
Box Tops are collected the last day of every month from the classrooms. It is exciting how much we can earn for Kennard through Box Tops and their Marketplace program - check it out at www.boxtops4education.com
